About Us

We formed the Carousel String Quartet over fifteen years ago, having met whilst studying at two of London’s prestigious music colleges, Trinity College of Music and The Royal College of Music.  Since then, we have enjoyed bringing our extensive experience and varied repertoire to countless weddings, dinners, parties and other events.

As well as popular classics from composers including Bach, Handel and Mozart, we can entertain you with an enjoyable mixture of romantic ballads, show tunes from the era of Cole Porter to the present day, jazz and ragtime, and pop arrangements ranging from               The Beatles, Take That and Madness to Van Morrison and Eva Cassidy.

We have played at many wonderful venues from Cliveden, Wentworth and The National Portrait Gallery to The Dorchester, Somerset House and the RAC Club, as well as many less well known locations, including smaller hotels, village halls and the occasional garden.  Our professionalism and extensive experience ensures that we continue to be recommended by venues such as Northcote House,  Great Fosters,  Warbrook House and Macdonald Berystede Hotel & Spa amongst many others.  

We have many years musical experience including teaching and orchestral work, as well as playing as part of the quartet.  Above all, we love what we do, and we firmly believe that our high standard of playing and stylish presentation, combined with our friendly and professional approach, is what sets us apart from others.
